Rules that collide
Start with one decision worth feeling, then build just enough world around it to make the answer interesting.

How we work
Find it. Build it. Break it. Release it. Then go round again.

SNØ started with tracks, wind and one shot. That small playable knot tells us more than a wall of future features ever could.
02 / WHAT WE ACTUALLY DO
Start with one decision worth feeling, then build just enough world around it to make the answer interesting.
Get the central loop under somebody's thumbs early. If it only works in a document, it does not work yet.
Build small, readable tools that serve the game. Motive Engine makes a choice, explains it and gets out of the way.
Package it, publish it and let real players find the edges. Browser, desktop and Android releases are already in the wild.
03 / THE LOOP
Find the decision, sensation or terrible little problem that makes the game worth starting.
Put the loop on screen early enough for it to disagree with us.
Play it under pressure, cut the polite bits and deepen the interactions that survive.
Package the real thing and show it at exactly the level it has reached.
↑ then back to 01. the loop is the method; the game is what falls out of it.
